About The Artist
|
| |
|
|
Gary Wright lives and
works in an old farmhouse near Hockley valley, about
a one hour drive north of Toronto, Ontario.
The images shown in the galleries are examples of some of the
pieces that have been created by Gary. There is a "one of
kind" element to every piece he makes. This element
varies in degree depending on the nature of the work,
such as when organic materials are used in the creation.

The bronze castings are
made by the lost-wax method. Some editions of the
pieces are limited. Many castings are "one off"
castings. A variety of patinas and dyes are used on the
pieces.
Many "one of a kind" pieces
are created and sold without images of them ever appearing
in the gallery. Custom orders
are welcome.
Gary also works in moose
and deer antler, and silver. Large pieces carved in
wood are also available from time to time.
